Egyptian Maadi Export Fixed Stock AK Parts Kit

Egyptian fixed stock AKM rifles marked for export that were cut up into parts kits to be imported to the US. These rifles were made by the Maadi Company in Cairo, Egypt with Russian assistance during the Cold War. Due to Russian assistance with manufacturing these rifles are very similar to early Russian AKMs but tend to have badly shaped rear trunnion rivets. These parts kits were torch cut and placed in bags for shipping to us. There may be surface rust near the cuts and small scratches/gouges on wood parts due to shipping. Many of the original grips are cracked and a replacement has been included. To finish this parts kit you will need a new barrel, receiver and rivet set.

FACTORY NEW (NOS) – all original parts, 100% original finish, in perfect condition in every respect inside and out.
EXCELLENT – all original parts. over 80% original finish, sharp lettering of numerals and designs on metal and wood, unmarred wood, fine bore.
VERY GOOD – all original parts, none to 30% original finish, original metal surfaces smooth with all edges sharp, clear lettering, numerals and designs on metal, wood slightly scratched or bruised, bore disregarded.
GOOD – some minor replacement parts, metal smoothly rusted or lightly pitted in some places, cleaned or reblued, principal lettering, numerals and designs on metal legible, wood refinished, scratched, bruised, or minor cracks repaired, in good working order.
FAIR – some major parts replaced, minor replacement parts may be required, metal rusted, may be lightly pitted all over, vigorously cleaned ore reblued, rounded edges of metal and wood, principal lettering, numerals and design on metal partly obliterated, wood scratched, bruised, cracked or repaired where broken, in fair working order or can be easily repaired and placed in working order.
POOR – major and minor parts replaced, major replacement parts required, and extensive restoration needed, metal deeply pitted, principal lettering, numerals and design obliterated, wood badly scratched, bruised, cracked or broken, mechanically inoperative, generally undesirable as a collector’s item.
RACK NUMBERED – any rack numbered magazine may be in very good to new old stock condition unless otherwise stated on the listing.

All surplus kits may have small blemishes (scratches, dents, rust, pitting, etc.) that does not affect function. Kit may be missing small part lost in demil.
