Romanian “G” Parts Kit (Fair-Good)

Romanian “G” rifle parts kit. These rifles were originally made for the Romanian Civil Patriotic Guard, or “Garda”. The guard is basically the Romanian version of our Army National guard in the United States and was mandatory for young men and women. It was staffed by about 700,000 citizens. In order to issue the rifles to the guard troops, they were modified to make them semi-automatic by cutting the tail off of the disconnector and removing the auto sear. The back end of the buttstock had a black stripe painted vertically along the edge and the rear sight block got a large orange letter “G” stamped on the left side to signify that it was a semi-automatic guard rifle.

This parts kit is missing the buttstock hardware screws and barrel component pins. Kit looks like it was a weld build at one point and comes as pictured with has matching:

EXCELLENT – all original parts. over 80% original finish, sharp lettering of numerals and designs on metal and wood, unmarred wood, fine bore.
VERY GOOD – all original parts, none to 30% original finish, original metal surfaces smooth with all edges sharp, clear lettering, numerals and designs on metal, wood slightly scratched or bruised, bore disregarded.
GOOD – some minor replacement parts, metal smoothly rusted or lightly pitted in some places, cleaned or reblued, principal lettering, numerals and designs on metal legible, wood refinished, scratched, bruised, or minor cracks repaired, in good working order.
FAIR – some major parts replaced, minor replacement parts may be required, metal rusted, may be lightly pitted all over, vigorously cleaned ore reblued, rounded edges of metal and wood, principal lettering, numerals and design on metal partly obliterated, wood scratched, bruised, cracked or repaired where broken, in fair working order or can be easily repaired and placed in working order.
POOR – major and minor parts replaced, major replacement parts required, and extensive restoration needed, metal deeply pitted, principal lettering, numerals and design obliterated, wood badly scratched, bruised, cracked or broken, mechanically inoperative, generally undesirable as a collector’s item.

All surplus kits may have small blemishes (scratches, dents, rust, pitting, etc.) that does not affect function. Kit may be missing small part lost in demil.
